Cordeiro Custom Remodeling is looking for candidates that are hardworking, driven, skillful, and willing to succeed. We provide our customers with the quality remodels, repairs, and fixtures they request by giving our best efforts as a team. The same way we provide to our customers, we provide to our employees. We understand the ideal career is to provide and have time for the family. Here at Cordeiro Custom Remodeling that is our main focus. 


We work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm; this will allow you to put in a day of hard work and have time for the family. Another way we place focus on our employees is we give paid vacations, paid holidays off, and any other necessary time off. We understand that family comes first. At Cordeiro Custom Remodeling we want to give you a career to provide, along with having time to enjoy life.

Carpenter Apprentice- $16.00-$20.00

Assists the project foreman and journeyman carpenters with customer satisfaction, carpentry, material handling, and job site clean-up. Under the supervision of the Lead Carpenter/Foreman, the Apprentice is responsible for keeping job sit organized. Duties typically consists of, installing structures and fixtures, windows, and molding, measuring, cutting, or shaping wood, plastic, and other materials. Opened until filled.  

  

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines always.
  • Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English (bilingual a plus).
  • Good understanding of basic math.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum tools required for a carpenter’s apprentice; carpenter bags, framing hammer, finish hammer, speed square, chisels, nail sets, 2’ and 4’ level, drill and impact set, cats' claw, prybar, oscillating saw, skill saw and a saws all. (This is the      minimum tools required, not all the tools that should be accumulated over  time.)


Journeyman Carpenter-  $20.00-$28.00

 The Journeyman Carpenter is a leader of people and projects who ensures all work is completed safely, correctly, on time, and on budget.  The Journeyman is responsible for, although not limited to: general supervision and training of employees, workplace safety, evaluating employee job performance, quality control, project planning, and assisting in cost control to keep projects on budget.  Opened until filled. 

  

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Proficient understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and  construction.
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and  measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.).
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines always.
  • Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English (bilingual a plus).
  • Good understanding of basic math.
  • High school diploma or GED required.


Working Foreman-$28.00-$35.00

  The Working Foreman is a leader of people and projects who ensures all work is completed safely, correctly and on time. The Foreman is responsible for general supervision and training of employees, workplace safety, helping with evaluating employee job performance, quality control, project scheduling and assisting in cost control to keep projects on budget. - Opened until filled


Experience & Education Requirements:

· Five (5) or more years of experience as a qualified and competent Foreman, General Foreman, or superintendent.

· Demonstrated understanding of various construction trades, including framing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and painting.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be able to understand spread sheets and drawings.

· Knowledge of workplace safety and general Cal OSHA compliance.

· Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

· Ability to provide verbal feedback regarding job performance to employees and coach them on substandard performance if necessary.

· Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

· Strong personal integrity and work ethic.
